The Sound Behind the Music

A little about the journey so far

A Note From Johnny Mike

I'm not trying to be a rock star, a country singer, or the next big thing in Nashville.

I'm a songwriter. I've been writing songs in five different decades, and I've finally found the resources to share them the way I've always imagined hearing them.

Some recordings feature professional studio musicians. Others use modern AI-assisted production to bring my original compositions to life.

I'm not the voice you hear on every recording, and I'm not pretending to be.

The songs are what I want you to hear.

If one makes you laugh, brings back a memory, gets your feet moving, or makes you feel something you haven't felt in years, then I've accomplished exactly what I set out to do.

I'm Johnny Mike. I write songs. The rest is just how I get them to your ears.
