Johnny Mike Songwriter Music

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Down the chimney, smooth and slow
Red velvet suit, gold cuff glow
Boots on the floor, he owns the room
Spray-can sparkle, old school boom
Cats in the window, tails in time
He’s got that grin, he’s got that shine
Jingle on his wrist, ring on his chain
Makes the whole house move again
[Pre-Chorus]
He points left
Then he points right
Shoes on fire
All through the night
Hold that pose
Don’t blink, don’t blink
Here he comes now
One more swing
[Chorus]
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Point and glide
Make the tinsel show
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Sleigh bells ring
And the disco balls go
[Verse 2]
He’s got the record spinning clean
Earth, wind, and fire on the machine
Santa swagger, satin and snow
Every little step says go, go, go
Milk and cookies on the sideboard plate
He hits that pose like it’s midnight fate
Cat Daddy grin, big bag of cheer
Whole block dancing when he gets near
[Pre-Chorus]
He points left
Then he points right
Shoes on fire
All through the night
Hold that pose
Don’t blink, don’t blink
Here he comes now
One more swing
[Chorus]
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Point and glide
Make the tinsel show
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Sleigh bells ring
And the disco balls go
[Bridge]
[Breakdown]
Snow on the floor
Hands in the air
He spins that beard
Like he just don’t care
Cats say meow
Kids say wow
He takes a bow
Then he takes the crowd
[Final Chorus]
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Point and glide
Make the tinsel show
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Sleigh bells ring
And the disco balls go
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
Cat Daddy Ho-Ho
One more pose
Then he vanishes slow
